AskMe Corporation Delivers Employee Knowledge Network Software System to Honeywell International
AskMe Enterprise Empowers Teams within Six Sigma Plus & Digitization Organizations and Aerospace Electronic Systems' Customer Services Operations

SEATTLE, July 15, 2002 - AskMe Corporation, a world-leading provider of Employee Knowledge Network (EKN) software solutions, announced today that Honeywell International, a US $24-billion diversified technology and manufacturing leader, is implementing AskMe Enterprise across its Six Sigma Plus and Digitization organizations, and its Aerospace Electronic Systems' (AES) Customer Services organization. Integrated into the company's IT infrastructure, AskMe Enterprise is a software system that enables employees within an organization to significantly improve productivity by quickly locating internal experts who can share their knowledge and expertise to help employees successfully complete critical tasks and projects. Honeywell will use AskMe Enterprise to improve execution of its Six Sigma Plus and Digitization projects, which are focused on improving processes, products and services to radically reduce manufacturing and/or administrative costs while increasing quality and customer satisfaction. "Digitization and Six Sigma are core strategic initiatives at Honeywell with significant bottom-line impact," said Gary Bird, Corporate Vice President, Honeywell Digitization group. "The quality and speed of execution on these projects are paramount to the continued success of the organization. With support from AskMe Enterprise, we are now leveraging the company's greatest asset - our employee 'know-how' - to improve cross-functional productivity."

AskMe Enterprise is a robust and scalable software system that facilitates the exchange of expertise and knowledge, captures the outcome for re-use and provides analysis to ensure improved organizational productivity. Completely customizable to meet specific organizational requirements, AskMe Enterprise offers a comprehensive set of features that includes auto-profiling, business rules & workflow, best practices, knowledge delivery in both documented and 'live' formats, knowledge seeker, provider and community services, as well as in-depth, on-demand analytic capabilities.

Gary Bird continued, "We wanted a scalable, easily integrated employee knowledge network solution. AskMe's Professional Services group drove the customization of the system to meet our team's needs, successfully completed the initial phase of integration, and most important, has helped us gain strong user adoption over a short time period."

In addition to deployment across Honeywell's Six Sigma and Digitization organizations, AskMe Enterprise was introduced to users within the AES Customer Services organization to help promote knowledge sharing and collaboration with the company's global field service engineering force and the AES product & system engineering organizations. According to Barry Lindsten, Director of Technical Services, "By arming our AES Customer Service technical operations with technologies that help them improve the quality and level of service to our customers, we inherently strengthen organizational performance and our responsiveness to customer needs. We consider AskMe Enterprise an investment that will help us achieve this goal."

Udai Shekawat, CEO and co-founder of AskMe Corporation, says that he is happy with how the implementation of AskMe Enterprise is progressing at Honeywell. "Being selected by Honeywell is yet another significant milestone for AskMe. It further validates how forward-thinking organizations are using new technologies to drive more efficient operations," said Shekawat. "AskMe Enterprise is a natural fit for large, global companies like Honeywell that have a dispersed workforce, and the benefits of a world-class employee knowledge network are significant to improving bottom-line performance. The evaluation process was highly competitive and we are delighted to have been selected as Honeywell's vendor of choice. "
